One that you get on with, and that is supportive, reliable and experienced. Someone that you can trust. Your relationship with your accountant is crucial to shaping your business, and you should feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. They should be able to communicate clearly and often with you.
Why use a Chartered accountant?
A Chartered Accountant is someone who has spent years studying and passing numerous exams in subjects like accounting, financial management, taxation, auditing and business strategy. They must keep up to date with all of the latest changes and updates in the world of tax and accountancy. The Institute of Chartered Accountants is a world leader when it comes to professionalism in accountancy, and its members follow strict regulations, standards and codes of ethics.

How often will you be in touch with me?
You can call us as often as you like, we’re your business support as well as your accountant. We will also have regular face to face meetings as well as catch up emails and phonecalls to ensure you’re on track to meet your business goals.
What accounting/bookkeeping software do you use?
The question is what software don’t we use. We love new stuff and if it makes us more efficient and gives you guys better information then that’s just fab. So we are huge advocates for cloud based software such as Xero, Quickbooks Online, Kashflow etc…
We are happy to help you convert to cloud based software, including any training, but if you’d rather stick to your standalone Sage Instant or something then we completely understand. We will moan about it every year until you embrace the 21st century though 😉
What information will I need to keep?
We’ll talk you through your record keeping, and what you need to keep track of. It’ll be different for each business, but we’ll cover everything you need to do to make your accounts as manageable as possible.
What’s it going to cost?
That depends on what services you’d like us to do for you, as well as which package you take out with us. We’re completely open and transparent when it comes to fees, and you’ll have a fixed monthly fee with no hidden costs.

As above, dependent on the package you take out with us. We’ll provide you with a full breakdown of what services are included.
How do I pay?
Monthly, by direct debit. We use a facility called Go Cardless to collect direct debits.
